Shuhei Kubo

Kubo played his rugby at flanker. He hails from Tsukushi, on the southern island of Kyushu. His career led him to work in Kawasaki for a medical company. He is now employed by the Japanese Rugby Football Union as a full time referee. At the end of the 2013-14 super rugby season, he'd refereed 45 games in the Top League. In April 2016, he became the first Japanese referee to officiate in a Super Rugby game. "
